Klein Tools Expands Line of Protective Eyewear with Three New Lens Colors



Lincolnshire, ILL - December 2006 - Klein Tools has expanded its line of protective eyewear with the introduction of three new lens colors-dark gray (Cat. No. 60046), amber (Cat. No. 60049) and SCT® gray (Cat. No. 60047). The new Klein® protective eyewear meets ANSI and OSHA requirements and is CSA-certified.

Designed for comfort and all-day use, the new eyewear features anti-fog, scratch-resistant, anti-UV lens coatings. Manufactured in the U.S., the protective eyewear has stylish wrap-around polycarbonate lenses for clear peripheral vision and eye protection. The design also includes adjustable temple lengths that provide a customized fit and a soft, flexible nose piece for a
snug fit.

The anti-fog coating minimizes lens fogging in almost any environment. The anti-scratch coating provides superior scratch resistance. The anti-UV coating blocks 99.9% of UVA and UVB radiation.

The dark gray lens is designed for outdoor work areas with strong sunlight and glare and the amber lens is best for indoor and outdoor low-light applications where enhanced contrast is needed. Offering true color recognition and meeting the traffic signal recognition requirements of ANSI Z80.3-2001, the SCT (Spectrum Control Technology) gray lens is for outdoor applications where outdoor glare needs to be minimized.
