Parker Announces Improved Line of Proportional Valves

Parker Hannifin Corporation's Hydraulic Valve Division has
announced several major new improvements to its DFW series of
proportional directional control valves. Typical applications
for these valves include reproducible control of actuator speed
in rapid/slow speed profiling, as well as smooth acceleration
and deceleration performance.

The new D1FW and D3FW valves take advantage of improved coil
technology to enhance performance. As a result, the maximum flow
capability of these D03 and D05 size valves has been dramatically increased. The D1FW flow rating has risen by more
than 32% to 47 LPM (12.5 GPM), while the D3W flow rating has
increased by more than 44% to 170 LPM (45 GPM).

Parker's ability to produce close-tolerance spools and bodies
assures consistently high performance. Each and every spool is
produced on sophisticated grinding equipment that holds tolerances within 50 millionths of an inch. Custom spool
configurations are available to meet specific OEM requirements.

Connection options include conduit boxes with wire leads, flying
leads or DIN type connectors as standard choices. Special lead
terminations such as Weather Pack connectors are available in
OEM quantities.
