Proportional Flow Control Cartridge with Internal Pressure Compensation

Elgin, Illinois (February 2006) -- Command Controls Corp. introduces a new line of cartridge style valves that fit into industry common cavities: the Pressure-Compensated Proportional Flow Control Valve. Using a single cartridge, the proportional valves offer pressure compensation using an internal compensator spool. This allows for a single cartridge proportional valve capable of working at full line pressure, eliminating the need for an external compensator.

Two styles are offered:

Model EPFI: Inline (Restrictive) Type, Pressure-Compensated Proportional Flow Control Valve. This compliments our existing 16 series EPFC valve.

Model EPFB: Priority (Bypass) Type, Pressure-Compensated Proportional Flow Control Valve with Bypass Port. This compliments our existing 16 series EPFD valve.

They are offered in:
08 series with a regulated flow up to 3.0 GPM (11,4 L/M)
10 series with a regulated flow up to 8.0 GPM (30,3 L/M)
12 series with a regulated flow up to 15.0 GPM (56,7 L/M)
16 series with a regulated flow up to 20.0 GPM (76,0 L/M)

All have an operating pressure of 5,000 PSI (350 Bar).

A unique, uni-body design and oversized seating allow high-torque tightening during installation, reducing the need for additional locking mechanisms or lock wires.

This compact cartridge design saves cost, size and weight compared to manifold type arrangements while performing the same function.
