Salesforce.com Customers Can Now Track Sales Responsiveness to Shorten Sales Cycles

SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 9 / -- salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference -- Prolifiq Software Inc. and salesforce.com (NYSE:CRM), the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced the availability of OnPoint for AppExchange. Prolifiq's OnPoint enables marketers to mobilize marketing content for sales teams who need to quickly satisfy customer requests for information. By increasing responsiveness, sales teams are then able to shorten sales cycles.

Prolifiq's OnPoint system is used to mobilize marketing content. Marketers can load digital files ranging from simple .pdf's to complex video, and Salesforce users can quickly trigger content-rich 1:1 messages to customers and prospects. Marketers can also track the effectiveness of marketing content to better enhance future marketing materials and lead qualification strategies. When an OnPoint message is initiated inside Salesforce, message details and response metrics are recorded in the recipient's contact record. If the contact does not already exist, a new lead record can be automatically generated.

OnPoint Mobile for BlackBerry, accessed through an icon on the BlackBerry handset home screen, provides sales teams with access to mobile-ready messaging templates for sending important sales and marketing information to customers and prospects. In addition, sales people can receive instant notifications when customers and prospects read and forward messages. When used in concert with OnPoint for AppExchange, all message delivery and response data is automatically recorded in the recipient's Salesforce contact record.
