HORSHAM, PENNSYLVANIA, Aprl 11, 2003-Two Technologies, an IS09001 registered company and leading manufacturer of rugged hand held/panel mount terminals and computers, is pleased to introduce the GraFX, the latest addition to its line of affordable programmable terminal products.
The GraFX, a rugged, full-featured programmable terminal, features a 120x32-pixel graphics display. The WYSIWYG display allows the user to review data prior to processing. The GraFX displays standard ISO font sets (IS0646 US, DK, DE & IS08859 1-15) and international character sets including Chinese,
Japanese and Korean characters-making it truly global. For applications that require graphing or multiple languages to be displayed, the GraFX's display has multiple overlaying "pages" that operate independently of each other allowing data on each individual page to be scrolled without affecting the data on other pages. For example, it is possible to scroll a graph while the text remains intact or to view one page while another is being loaded with data prior to display.
Interfacing to multiple devices is simple with the optional 2nd serial port. The GraFX is programmable using either "C" or Assembly language. The GraFX also features six front mounted LED indicators, which are controllable via software.
Among the GraFX's most unique features are its ability to be totally submerged (IP67) and its chemical resistant Xenoy® case. The GraFX is well suited for applications such as food preparation or dairy where "wash down" or submersion may occur regularly. The case material is ideal for applications such as
industrial printers, where MEK (Methyl-Ethyl Ketone) and other harsh chemicals, fuels, or oils are used.
The GraFX is essential for OEM applications where a rugged hand held, panel mount or vehicle mounted programmable terminal is required. With customizable options such as keypad overlay, logo tag, serial tag, case color, cable, and display, the GraFX seamlessly fits into any application.
