Geotest Produces PXI Programmable Resistor
Irvine, CA (June 14, 2002) - Geotest-Marvin Test Systems, Inc., a global supplier of electronic test equipment for aerospace, semiconductors, telecom, medical, industrial and military applications, today announced the release of a new programmable resistor - the GX1164.
The GX1164 is a PXI multi-channel programmable resistor board that provides the user with four programmable resistor channels. Three of the channels may be programmed from 1 Ohm to 64K Ohm with 1 Ohm resolution and the fourth channel can be programmed from 10 Ohm to 640K Ohm with 10 Ohm resolution. Custom resistor ranges and resolutions are also available. An on-board EEPROM provides for personalized calibration data.

Geotest developed the GX1164 and other PXI products as a result of a growing demand for low-cost, high-performance alternatives to VXI and rack instrumentation.
