Production Automation Made Easier with Telemetrics Camera Robotics and Control Systems

NAB Exhibit Features Innovative Tools that Optimize Production and Help Customers

Gain Time and Resource Efficiencies

Las Vegas, NV – Telemetrics Inc., a recognized international leader in camera robotics systems, is showcasing its vision for optimized production automation at this year's NAB. Highlights of the exhibit include a host of innovative solutions: a highly versatile camera track system that can be ceiling or floor mounted and that can incorporate curves, a cost-efficient integrated HD camera/robotics device, next generation remote camera automation system, as well as automation software and a variety of smaller and lighter motorized pan/tilt heads and motorized camera pedestals.

"Our portfolio of camera robotics and control systems redefines production automation by delivering an impressive combination of versatility, efficiency and quality," said Anthony Cuomo, President, Telemetrics, Inc. "Telemetrics products are designed and manufactured to establish new benchmarks in functionality and performance to help our customers improve overall productivity."

Leading the exhibit is Telemetrics' new TG4 Teleglide Camera Track System, which has the unique ability to conform in shape and scale for ceiling or the floor mounted studio applications. The extremely quiet system provides smooth operation even on uneven mounting surfaces, and features a unique integrated cable management system capable of handling S curves on the floor, auto alignment, and stable support for elevating or lowering pan/tilt heads when outfitted with a Telemetrics Televator motorized pedestal. Along with its low profile trolley, the system's IP integration capability and availability of custom turn radiuses and track lengths allow the TG4 to be customized to meet virtually any studio application.

Telemetrics' new Robo Eye is an integrated HD camera/robotic device that delivers HD imaging and high-end robotics performance in a single cost-effective package for an extensive range of applications. Out of the box ready for air and augmented reality systems, Robo Eye features a Sony Exmor 2.18-megapixel CMOS image sensor to capture HD images with exceptional color reproduction and with a 30X zoom lens for extraordinary focal range. Its advanced electronic interface includes a web-server enabling users to access video and control using a web-enabled device. Alternately, the camera can be remotely controlled over an Ethernet connection or via RS-232C/422.

Also featured is Telemetrics' Robotic Camera Control System, which is comprised of the company's Robotic Camera Control Panel (RCCP-1), Camera Shader Panel (CSP) and Enterprise Database Control Software (EDCS). The comprehensive camera robotics and control solution provides highly efficient synchronized work-flow with multiple locations that lowers the barriers for achieving optimal production efficiencies across the enterprise.

Also on display is the company's TeleSoft Camera Control Automation Software to remotely operate Canon's BU Series and Sony's BRC Series PTZ cameras; TeleSoft Camera Control Automation Software to allow operators to work with a touchscreen or a mouse and a virtual joystick to have full control of up to eight cameras including storing up to 16 presets; the compact and lightweight HDSC-1 Robotics Specialty Camera; EP5 Televator® Remotely Controlled Motorized Telescoping Camera Mount to add pedestal height control to the Telemetrics pan/tilt product line; and the PT-RM-1 pan/tilt head with 360° movement and a slip-ring option.
