Redesigned KSP-49 Prod Style Thermocouple

The Pyrometer Instrument Company, Inc., Northvale, NJ - Introduces its redesigned Model KSP-49 Prod "K" Style Thermocouple. The redesigned KSP-49 features a round or flat pin connector that will integrate with most commercially available digital thermometers.

This KSP-49 features a 12" long chrome-plated-heavy-duty rigid arm with a 5/8" diameter cushioned rubber handle. For protection against premature wire breakage, the KSP-49 thermocouple wire is shielded in flexible stainless steel armor.

The KSP-49 spring loaded solid prod tips were designed to absorb shock for maximum operator comfort and safety. The prod tips (1/4" dia.) can be sharpened or replaced. For specific application requirements the rigid arm and flexible stainless steel armor can be modified to any length. In addition, the KSP-49 can be furnished with pigtail connections for direct hookup to a remote mounted digital panel meter.

The KSP-49 is designed for high temperature applications measuring billets, molds, sheet material or general surface measurements to 2300°F (1260 deg C).
