Process Technology Offers Ceramacast 675 High Temperature Potting Compound

Process Technology, manufacturer of electric immersion heaters, inline heaters, heat exchangers and temperature controls, is now offering Ceramacast 675 for over 70% below reail value. Ceramacast 675 is a high temperature, thermally conductive, aluminum nitride filled ceramic potting compound. It is used in the production of quick response sensors such as thermocouples and resistance temperature detectors, as well as high power resistors. Material properties include a temperature resistance of 2500 degrees F, thermal conductivity on the order of 100 W/m-K, dielectric strength of 300 volts/mil, volume resistivity of 10 (superscript 13) ohm-cm at room temperature, compressive strength of 2,000 psi, and good chemical and moisture resistance. Ceramacast 675 is supplied in powder form and is mixed in a ratio of 100 parts powder to 15-17 parts water by weight. The material offered by Process Technology is 75% AIN, 13% Magnesium Oxide, and 12% Magnesium Phosphate. The particle siz e is 7-10 micron.
