Hardy Filler/Dispenser Controller Adds Smart Diagnostics

San Diego, CA - Hardy Instruments announces the availability of the Smart Diagnostics (SD) option on its 3000 Series of application-specific process controllers. Hardy's SD is a remote system monitoring and analysis tool that utilizes a multitude of conditions and deep model knowledge to provide system reports, correction, and maintenance.

Data gathering or troubleshooting with Smart Diagnostics can be done from the security of a control room, ensuring user safety in the event of any adverse environmental condition. Critical diagnostic information can be rapidly collected to enable prompt location and resolution of problems.

Using the SD option, a plant supervisor or engineer can directly wire up to four load sensors to the controller to monitor
individual weight, mV/V, and mV from the front panel display over Ethernet using a web browser or wirelessly utilizing a
Palm® OS PDA. Individual sensor stability and zero testing can also be performed without connecting additional test
equipment.
