Printek Expands PrintekMobile Warranty Service Programs


September 17, 2008 Benton Harbor, MI USA - Printek, Inc., a leading provider of innovative and reliable business printing solutions, announced today the expansion of the PrintekMobile Warranty Service Program with the addition of its one business day advanced warranty exchange program, Mobile Printer Exchange Program (MPEP).

Printek is already recognized as having the most comprehensive standard warranty in the mobile printer industry. Printek's standard one-year mobile thermal printer warranty covers the entire printer - case, battery, and printhead. This is an advantage over most other manufacturers, whose warranties are limited to 90-days on the battery and 6-months on the printhead. With Printek, all covered repairs during the warranty period are free of cost to the customer.

The Printek Mobile Printer Exchange Program (MPEP) guarantees that a PrintekMobile replacement printer will arrive at your site within one business day of notification (U.S. only). After receiving your replacement unit, simply place the original unit in the shipping carton your replacement printer arrived in and return it - prepaid freight and insured - to Printek within 10 days. And, as a special promotion, if you purchase a Mobile Printer Exchange Program (MPEP) annual service contract within 90 days of purchasing a Printek printer, Printek will extend the contract period for an additional year, two years total, at 50% off the regular Mobile Printer Exchange Program (MPEP) annual rate.

Another warranty offering is the PrintekMobile Extended P3 Warranty Program, which extends the standard one-year warranty to a total warranty of three years, excluding the battery and printhead, which are warrantied for the first year only. Service under this warranty period is as follows;

o for international customers, return to your local Printek authorized warranty service provider

o for our customers in the United States, return to Printek's factory depot in Michigan

And, as with MPEP, value pricing is offered for P3 when purchased at the same time as your printer. Both the standard warranty and the extended P3 three-year warranty program are available to all domestic and international customers. The Mobile Printer Exchange Program (MPEP) program is only available in the United States.
