Princeton Public Library Selects RCD Technology Custom Library Cards and Book Labels

RCD develops a RFID product line for the library market

QUAKERTOWN, Pa., April 26 - RCD Technology, a vertically integrated designer and producer of HF and UHF tags for RFID applications and the Princeton Public Library, introduced a customized RFID library card marking RCD's entrance into the book and label patron card market.

RCD will be attending RFID Journal Live 2007 (Orlando, FL), located at booth#1030.

The RCD vertical manufacturing process, including their patented process to produce copper antenna for HF or UHF tags, enables cost-effective production for application specific orders requiring RFID antennae design, graphics, application specific durability and data personalization. The Princeton Library card included custom graphics and a library specified sequential numbering of the cards.

Libraries seeking a reliable supply of cards, book labels and DVD labels for RFID system launches or for smaller post launch reorders, can order from RCD, a USA based manufacturer.

"The Princeton Public Library is a model for mid-sized libraries who are instituting new methods such as RFID technology to cost effectively improve their customer satisfaction," said Pete Kuzma, vice president, business development, RCD Technology. "They are the first library account for us and we are extremely pleased that we could provide a customized RFID solution that addresses their business needs."
