Industrial Pressure Transmitters Engineered for Operation in Hazardous Locations

TULARE, CA - PSI-Tronix, a division of Scientific Technologies Inc., introduces PT-420 HAZ Series Industrial Pressure Transmitters. The PT-420 HAZ Series is CSA-certified for use in Class I, Div. 1, Group B, C, D; Class II, Group E, F, G; and Class III Type 4X hazardous locations. They feature a conduit connection with a terminal strip for wire termination, zero and span potentiometers, a solid-state transducer element, and 4-20 mA standard output.

Each unit is quality tested and calibrated to provide accuracy to ±0.25 B.F.S.L. Each unit is also temperature compensated to assure accuracy and long-term stability in severe ambient temperature variations. The circuit board is potted with a hard-setting compound to provide maximum protection against vibration, shock, and humidity. Their compact, rugged design makes them suitable for use in a number of industrial pressure measurement applications.

PSI-Tronix Technologies Inc., is a division of Scientific Technologies Inc., which has been selected twice by Forbes and three times by Business Week as one of the "world's best small companies."
