Pressure Transducers have miniature flush diaphragm design.

Press Release Summary:

Constructed of all-welded stainless steel, Model 188/288/388 series incorporates 7/16-20 UNF pressure port that eliminates any zero installation effect. Flush diaphragm design enables accurate pressure measurements of high-viscosity fluids, even in high-shock and -vibration environments, without port plugging/clogging. Standard wetted parts are made from stainless steel; options include Inconel and Hastelloy. Standard operating range is -65 to +250°F, and optional +350°F version is available.

GP:50 Corporation LTD Introduces Miniature Flush Diaphragm Pressure Transducers for Demanding Process Measurements

Grand Island, New York, USA — GP:50 Corporation LTD (www.gp50.com) (GP:50), an ISO9001 certified global manufacturer of accurate, reliable static pressure sensing instrumentation, today introduced its Model 188/288/388 miniature flush diaphragm pressure transducer series.

The unique flush diaphragm design of the GP:50 Model 188/288/388 now makes possible accurate pressure measurements of high-viscosity fluids, even within high shock and vibration environments, without port plugging and clogging. This makes the series particularly useful for the support of aerospace and automotive test stands; chemical and pharmaceutical processing, plastics extrusion; and adhesive, sealant and paint systems.

The GP:50 Model 188/288/388 series features an all-welded stainless steel construction and incorporates a 7/16-20 UNF pressure port that eliminates any zero installation effect. Standard wetted parts are made from stainless steel, with optional substitution of Inconel or Hastelloy. The standard operating temperature range for the Model 188/288/388 is -65°F to +250°F (-54°C to +121°C), with an optional high-temperature version to +350°F (+177°C).

Model 188 is the smallest transducer of the family, with an overall length of just 1.35 in. (34 mm). It can measure fast events due to its high-frequency response, typically less than 3 kHz. Model 188 operates over a standard range of 300 PSI to 20k PSI (21 to 1,379 BAR), with total accuracy to ±0.25% RSS. Output signal is 2 mV/V, with a bridge impedance of 5000 Ù (350 Ù optional). Typical thermal shift is ±2%/100°F, both zero and span.

Models 288 and 388 measure 2.67 in. (68 mm) and are available with choice of either voltage or current output.  The Model 288 further offers a DC output, proportional to pressure, of 0-5 Vdc and 0-10 Vdc. Model 388 is a loop-powered device (4-20 mA) with a current output proportional to pressure. Both models operate over a standard range of 100 PSI to 20k PSI (7 to 1,379 BAR) with ±0.25% FSO (RSS) accuracy. Optional improved accuracy is available to ±0.05% FSO. Typical thermal shift is ±0.5%/100°F (zero and span), with optional improvement to ±0.25%/100°F. Additional options include various electrical connectors; alternative wetted ports; temperature outputs; and sensor choices of RTD, Type J and Type K thermocouples. Further transducer customization may also be available. Please consult the factory for details.

All Model 188/288/388 pressure transducers are 100% manufactured and tested at the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Grand Island, New York, USA. They are further supported by an active global sales and distribution network.
