Dynisco to Showcase New Non-Filled Sensors at NPE 2003

Franklin, Massachusetts (March 17, 2003) - Dynisco, LLC will be showcasing the new SPT family of Non-Filled pressure transducers and transmitters at NPE 2003 (North Hall Booth #5526) this June in Chicago, IL. These new transducers are designed for the food and medical extrusion markets. The new SPT, which stands for Silicon Pressure Transducer, adds a fourth technology to the already vast family of Alternate Filled Transducers, which includes NaK filled, Oil Filled and Push Rod style transducers.

Since the new family of sensors is completely mechanical, meeting the strict requirements of the FDA and USDA is not an issue. This allows the end user to confidently change out their existing pressure measurement devices to meet both governmental and facility edicts without concern. Douglas Joy, Director of Marketing in announcing the newest series of products commented, "Processors can now choose from the widest array of melt transducers available on the market today from a single supplier. No matter the application Dynisco has a transducer that will satisfy the necessary process requirements."

"As companies continue to strive to improve productivity and quality, they look for suppliers, such as Dynisco, which find ways to provide new products in the ever changing and growing market place," Joy continued.

The Dynisco non-filled transducer is available in a wide variety of pressure ranges and includes the standard electrical outputs, including 3.33mV/V, 0 - 5 Vdc, 0 - 10 Vdc and 4 - 20 mA. The series is yet another new product enhancing the already vast product offering of extrusion products available at Dynisco.

Dynisco, LLC is a worldwide leader providing pressure and temperature sensors and instruments for plastics processing and other industrial applications; polymer test systems for laboratory and in-process measurement; and gear pumps, screen changers, pelletizers, cleaning ovens and other auxiliary equipment for the plastics and process industries under the Dynisco and Beringer brand names.
