Setra Systems Introduces New Model 528 High Performance Industrial Pressure Transducer
Boxborough, Mass. -- Setra Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of pressure measurement devices, introduces its new Model 528 strain gauge, high performance industrial pressure transducer. Designed for robust industrial and submersible applications such as hydraulic test, bore-hole level and vehicle test applications that require high performance in extreme environments, such as Off-highway, semiconductor processing, robotics, natural gas equipment, power plants, HVAC-compressors, and refrigeration.
The Model 528's CVD strain gauge design is resistant to aging and virtually insensitive to thermal transients and pressure cycling. The stability of this technology assures the user of high reliability with less than 0.2% drift per year.
The Model 528's modular design is offered with a variety of pressure fittings and electrical connections, enabling the unit to be custom-configured for virtually any OEM application. All wetted parts are constructed of corrosion-resistant 17-4 PH stainless steel, which makes this unit ideal for use with corrosive media.
The Model 528 offers 0.1% FS accuracy, a compensated temperature range of -20°F to +212°F (-30°C to 100°C), and choice of 0-5 VDC, 0-10 VDC, 1-5 VDC, 1-6 VDC, 1-11VDC, or
4 to 20 mA output. Gauge pressure transducers are available in pressure ranges from -14.7 psi up to 6000 psi. Compound and absolute ranges are available from 15 psi up to 300 psi.
