Setra Systems Introduces New Model 526 General Purpose/Submersible Pressure Transducer
Gauge, Absolute, and Compound Pressure
Boxborough, Mass. -- Setra Systems, a leading designer and manufacturer of pressure measurement devices, has added the Model 526 to its new line of CVD strain gauge pressure transducers. Utilizing proven CVD technology, the sensor is designed with a thicker diaphragm for robust, industrial general purpose and submersible applications.
Particularly suited to level measurement and load safety systems applications, the outstanding performance of this transducer assures the user of stable operation and high accuracy required in off-highway, power plants, natural gas equipment, HVAC-compressors, refrigeration and robotics applications. An intrinsic safe (ETL approved for Class 1, Div.1, Groups C & D) option is offered for process, gas pipeline, liquid level, petrochemical, sewage, and pharmaceutical applications. The Model 526 offers 0.25% FS accuracy (optional 0.15% FS), a compensated temperature range of -5°F to +180°F (-20°C to +80°C), and gauge pressure ranges from -14.7 psi up to 6000 psi, and absolute or compound pressure ranges from -14.7 psi up to 300 psi.
The Model 526's modular design is offered in a wide choice of millivolt, voltage or current outputs over almost any pressure range, and a variety of pressure fittings and electrical connections, enabling the unit to be custom-configured to any OEM application. Depending on the electrical connection selected, when coupled with the Model 526 enclosure, which is fabricated in 315 SS/17-4 PH SS, this model is rated for IP30, IP65 or IP68 operation.
