SOR Mini-Hermet for Hazardous, Hostile Environments

SOR Mini-Hermet pressure switches are robust field-mounted instruments. The pressure sensing assembly is similar to a conventional SOR type pressure switch, except the switching element assembly is hermetically sealed in an explosion proof steel housing.

Mini-Hermet highlights include: robust construction, explosion proof hermetically sealed switching capsule and set point adjustment without declassification of hazardous area.

"Mini-Hermet pressure switches are recommended for a variety of process applications in hazardous locations and hostile environments where stainless steel exterior parts are required and where space is limited." says SOR Product Manager, Michael Lian, "A few examples of places you might see this product would be panels for offshore platforms, and lube oil systems."

The Mini-Hermet is very price competitive within the market. A simple, fast installation without special tools and long service life make it a very cost-effective product.
