Norgren's 18S Allfluid Pressure Sensor is Ideal for Robust Fluid Applications

Littleton, Colorado, USA - August 2004, Norgren, the motion and fluid control specialist, has introduced a range of Allfuid pressure sensors for deployment in industries that require the advantage of robust design in harsh operating environments. Designated as the Herion 18S Allfluid series the analog pressure sensor features excellent long-term stability combined with temperature compensation. For use in hydraulic applications the sensors are available in a wide measuring pressure range namely 0 to 11,600 PSI and are suitable for neutral and aggressive gases/fluid mediums.

Available in a 3 wire version with an output signal range of 0 to 10V and a 4 to 20mA 2 wire variant the pressure sensors feature an ambient and fluid temperature range of -4°F to 185°F combined with an IP 65 protection rating according to DIN 40050. Offering ¼ NPT male fluid connection and simple electrical connection via an M12 x 1 connector further information on this range can be found at www.norgren.com.
