Multi-function Electronic Pressure Instrument for Process Industries



The SGT® Electronic Pressure Instrument an innovative field sensor from SOR is now available with PMC style connections for the Pulp and Paper/Forestry industry. This multi-function device provides two relays, local indication and a 4-20mA output and is designed for use in Class 1, Div 2 hazardous locations. Fast response, self-diagnostics, on-line testing and password protection help ensure that the SGT provides a Plant Engineer with reliable information for your monitoring and control applications.

The SGT combines the functions of a dual switch, a gage and a transmitter into a compact, loop powered device! Each switch is independently programmable, unaffected by the scaling of the analog output, and capable of providing deadbands as low as 0.2% URL. The gage, with user programmable engineering units, continuously indicates the process variable up to 150% URL. The programmable transmitter allows for 5:1 turndown of the analog signal independent of the switch and gage functions. Available in ranges from 10 to 2,000 psig/psia and 30"Hg vacuum, the SGT is UL and cUL approved, ATEX certified and backed by a three-year warranty.
