Double Coated Adhesive Film For Foam Fabrication and Industrial Assembly



Windsor, Connecticut - August 16, 2005.... Scapa North America has introduced Dublfilm S996, a double coated pressure-sensitive adhesive that delivers consistent, reliable bonds to a variety of substrates including EPDM rubber. Offering extremely high tack and peel, this product is ideal for gasketing, foam fabrication, lamination to EPDM rubber, and difficult bonding, splicing, and assembly applications.

Dublfilm S996 consists of a highly conformable PET film, double coated with an exceptionally high tack, high peel acrylic adhesive, and supplied with a 76# polycoated release liner. The product's high adhesive mass provides excellent gap filling properties and delivers strong bonds on rough or porous surfaces. Dublfilm S996 offers excellent resistance to environmental extremes and excellent adhesion to ether and ester foams.
