Scott Specialty Gases Introduces Lightweight and Compact Pressure Regulators for Portable Applications



Plumsteadville PA---Scott Specialty Gases now offers a compact single-stage regulator series designed for portable calibration and analyzer applications. Model 206 Series regulators feature a low internal dead volume of 3.03 cc that allows for rapid purging in instrument applications, while a convoluted diaphragm provides excellent accuracy. A sintered filter protects internal parts and helps extend regulator service life.

Model 206 Series regulators are available in 316 stainless steel or brass construction. Brass is recommended for noncorrosive applications only. Maximum inlet pressure is rated at 3000 psig (207 bar). Operating temperature range is between -40°F and +140°F (-40°C to +60°C). Available delivery pressure ranges for Model 206 regulators are 1 to 30 psig (0.07 to 2.1 bar), 2 to 75 psig (0.14 to 5.2 bar) or 4 to 150 psig (0.3 to 10.3 bar). Choice of CGA, DIN and other cylinder connections are offered.
