Pressure-Reducing Regulator is made of stainless steel.

Press Release Summary:

Miniature Series 9014 regulates inlet pressure of 0 to 3000 psi down to outlet pressures of 0 to 200 psi. Filtered inlet prevents contaminants from affecting positive seal when in lock-up condition. For precise control in low flow-rate applications, orifice sizes with Cv's of 0.01, 0.03, and 0.06 are available. Specially treated piston seal minimizes friction. Regulator includes NPT and tube-stub connections.

Original Press Release:

9014 Micro Pressure-Reducing Regulator

U.S. Para Plate Corporation of Auburn, CA has announced the availability of the latest version of the miniature 9014 Series pressure regulator. This compact pressure-reducing valve is designed for systems in which size, weight and cost are critical design factors. The 9014 regulates inlet pressures of 0 to 3000 psi down to outlet pressures of 0 to 200 psi.

A filtered inlet prevents contaminants from affecting a positive seal when in the lock-up condition. This small regulator is produced of 316 Stainless Steel as the standard material to maximize resistance to potentially damaging gases. Aluminum is an option where weight is the prime consideration. Other standard features offered are the Kel-F seat, a specially treated piston seal to minimize friction and assure accurate pressure control, and NPT and tube stub connections. For precise control in low flow-rate applications, orifice sizes with Cv's of 0.01, 0.03 and 0.06 are available.

This regulator has flown on the Space Shuttle as part of a gas chromatograph system. Its compact footprint makes it desirable in medical instrumentation, R&D facilities and other applications in which space is a limiting factor.
