Longbed Pressformer FP Series Presses: Optimal Performance For Long And Narrow Parts

Mount Carmel, IL - The newly released Longbed Pressformer Series combines a proven two-cylinder pressbrake frame design with Pacific's press control systems. The Longbed Press has a deep throat C-frame design, which provides total power and controllability throughout the stroke, as well as maximum access from all sides. Models are available in 100 to 3000 tons, with a bed size to fit any application (platen widths up to 48"). Tandem designs are also available (up to 150' in length is achievable) to deliver long part productivity.

Active leveling, a wide range of throats, open heights, and strokes can accommodate an impressive range of press applications. Control options are available in either a manual limit switch stroke control or with an Allen Bradley Panelview CNC operator system. The Longbed Press is ideal for metal forming, punching, riveting, and molding operations.

It's rugged construction and interlocked design help to minimize frame deflection. It is equipped with a state-of-the-art hydraulic system, which delivers precision, high-speed performance, and dependability. The full rated tonnage and open heights deliver power throughout a long stroke.

The Longbed Pressformer also offers numerous optional features including continuous run for use with feed systems or automation, light curtains, quick die change, removable bolsters, nitrogen die capability, shock dampers, oil heaters and coolers, and hydraulic tool clamping.
