New 67 Ton Capacity Press Brake Added to C Series
FARMINGTON, Conn., February 20, 2002 - A new TrumaBend C series CNC press brake, the C 60, is now available.
"The TRUMPF C 60 CNC press brake is a welcome addition to the C
series family of machines," says Lynn Moore, press brake product
manager for TRUMPF Inc. "The C 60 is designed for performance and
flexibility in a highly competitive market."
Rated at 67 tons with 82 inches of bending length, the C 60 offers high-production speeds with a down-acting y1/y2 hydraulic ram drive that delivers 472 inches per minute on approach and returns with up to 47 inches per minute pressing speed.
"The C 60 also offers the precision of ± .0004" ram repeatability and other features you would expect from TRUMPF machines," Moore adds. "All of the TrumaBend press brakes offer a high level of quality and accuracy, but the C series machines provide it in a more basic configuration to fit any fabricator's budget."
The C 60 is available in a 4-axis (y1, y2, x & r) and a 6-axis (y1, y2, x, r, z1 & z2) configuration and comes equipped with an auto-passive bed crowning system as a standard feature.
TRUMPF C series press brakes feature a unique programmable back
gauging table, which not only gauges the flange, but can also support large thin sheets. In addition, C series machines are compatible with any style of press brake tooling available.
Another feature of the C series is a 2D graphics control that is
compatible with ToPs 600 offline programming software. Programs
can be downloaded via a network option to save overall production
time.
Also available is the C 110, rated at 123 tons with 122 inches of
bending length.
