Preclick Debuts Preclick Internet Photo Messenger at DEMO 07

Preclick IPM(TM) turns PCs into networked picture frames

PALM DESERT, Calif., Jan. 30 // -- At DEMO 07, Preclick Corporation, www.preclick.com, unveiled Preclick IPM(TM), a unique, Internet photo messenger that eliminates digital photo email hassles and turns users' computer monitors into a dynamic picture viewer.

Preclick IPM borrows "social" rules from instant messaging, enabling users to leverage buddy lists to keep an instant photo sharing display on their desktop. From there, Preclick IPM files pictures, prints, creates screensavers, RSS feeds and more.

Preclick is among 68 elite companies selected for DEMO 07, taking place January 30-February 1 in Palm Desert, California. Preclick IPM empowers consumers to easily create and share digital photos. The service fits the DEMO 07 theme of "empowered individuals" -- savvy consumers who create and consume content and experience through Web-delivered services.

"Preclick IPM exemplifies the new Web services that we're focusing on at DEMO 07 - content delivered when and how consumers want it," said Chris Shipley, executive producer of the DEMO conferences. "A dynamic picture frame on your monitor lets people immediately send and receive digital photos and content from those they care about. It's content delivered on their own terms."

Preclick makes co-branded photo software for major imaging brands: Hewlett-Packard, Wal-Mart, Costco, 3M, and SanDisk. Preclick also offers a family of plug-in applications for free and for under $20 to address customer desires and frustrations.

"We're offering a free service to share digital photos in a new way. Users sign up family and friends, and can project sets of photos-slide shows, greeting cards or screensavers-that directly pop up on their screens," said Brian Smiga, chief executive officer. "Customers receiving photos can print, order prints and products, save to disk, create a screensaver, and more - instead of fiddling with attachments or going to a Web site."

Smiga added that according to IDC photo sharing sites are used by fewer than 20% of the market, whereas all users regularly send digital photos by email and many use instant messaging. "If they know how to use IM, they'll understand IPM," Smiga said. Preclick IPM makes photo sharing as personal and immediate as instant messaging. A free software download, Preclick IPM will be publicly available in April 2007. To learn more visit www.preclick.com/demo.

Preclick IPM joins a family of products from Preclick including PhotoBack(R), PhotoMovieMaker(R) and Create Studio. PhotoBack provides automatic backup and CD-burning. PhotoMovieMaker lets consumers create compelling movies from photos to play on DVD players-complete with music, captions and titles; www.preclick.com/download.
