Precision Scissor Designed for Cutting Photo-Etched Parts

A precision scissor that features thin, tapered blades and long handles for safely cutting small, highly detailed photo-etched parts without damaging and deforming their edges is available from Xuron Corp. of Saco, Maine.

The Xuron® Model 9180ET Professional Photo-Etch Scissor has long, thin, tapered blades for reaching into tiny photo-etched part frets and producing clean cuts without damaging their edges.  Featuring soft rubber grips that comfortably fit into large and small hands, this scissor has an open design which eliminates cumbersome finger loops, a built-in return spring, and a long, ergonomically shaped handle for optimum cutting control.

Ideal for de-gating and cutting soft metals up to 0.005” thick, the Xuron® Model 9180ET Professional Photo-Etch Scissor has ultra sharp tips that cut without bending, pinching, or twisting.  Especially well suited for older hobbyists and scale modelers with arthritis and sore hands, the return spring brings the tool back into the open position after each cut.

The Xuron® Model 9180ET Professional Photo-Etch Scissor sells for $23.95 (suggested retail).
