Polymer Valley Chemicals to Introduce New Silane-Filler Dry Liquid Concentrate Pre-Weighs at Rubber Expo



Akron, OH: Polymer Valley Chemicals, a manufacturer of carbon black and mineral filler pre-weighs, will introduce a new line of silane-filler dry liquid concentrate pre-weighs at Rubber Expo in Cleveland (Booth 1546).

The new silane-filler dry liquid concentrate pre-weighs are available in standard and custom formulations and can be produced using carbon blacks, silicas, or clays.

The SFC pre-weighs are packaged in low melt, batch inclusion bags (85 of 98 degrees C), and in weights from one pound to 60 pounds. All grades of carbon black are available and mineral fillers can be treated or non-treated. While most SFC pre-weighs are single filler formulations, co-blends can be produced.

Two standard carbon black SFC pre-weighs are available, but custom formulations with any concentration of silane can be developed. Standard silane-carbon black pre-weighs are:

PV-Black 50-S4: 50% TESPT and 50% Carbon Black.
PV-Black 50-S2: 50% TESPD and 50% Carbon Black

According to Gary J. Horning, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Polymer Valley Chemicals, "Our new SFC pre-weighs offer tire makers, rubber compounders,molders who do in-house mixing, and plastic compounders increased accuracy in mixing and a much cleaner plant environment.
