Practical experience figures regarding the service life of the new labeling station that was developed especially for the
Innoket KL 2000 generation of labelers are now available. These figures fully confirm the longevity of this innovative labeling
station.
The Innoket KL 2000 will run more than 20,000 hours of operation before needing any overhaul work. Even at that these rates, the results
show minimal wear and tear on the labeling stations.
Several factors are responsible for the long service life of the labeling stations. The mode of labeling station operation is a decisive factor.
Rotation instead of oscillation is the keyword. Smoothly rotating gluing segments instead of irregular oscillation. Always in the same direction.
Directly driven. Free from abrasion caused by reduction gears. This avoids vibration, overloading, and wear. In addition, KHS has developed
an innovative conical clutch that has no play whatsoever and is also corrosion-resistant.
A quadruple web seals the station housing and prevents penetration of water into the labeling station. Each Innoket KL 2000 labeling station
is equipped with an integrated hot water cleaning system. The labeling stations can also be intensively hosed off with water as desired.
The Innoket KL 2000 is equipped with an external, electrically operated oil circulation lubrication that operates independent of the rotation
of the station to specifically counteract corrosion.
Practical experience confirms: Compared with conventional labeling stations, implementation of the above-mentioned constructional measures
can double or triple the labeling station service life in many instances.
