LOS ALAMITOS, CA - Practical Components Inc., a leading supplier of dummy components, introduces the Practical Dummy Component® version of pre-molded QFN packages. Created by Quik-Pak, the packages offer a high-quality, fast solution for assembly needs from prototype to production volumes.
The pre-molded packages come in a variety of sizes from 3x3 to 12x12 mm body size with lead pitch sizes ranging from 0.8 to 0.4 mm. Covers or lids also are available for air cavity applications.
The pre-molded air cavity packagers offer flexibility with custom QFN body sizes and lead counts. They are manufactured using a RoHS and REACH compliant "green" molding compound and feature a larger die paddle area that supports larger die and ground bonds per given body size.
