Powerful But Small 10mm DC Micromotor
Clearwater, Florida - MicroMo Electronics, Inc. announces the expansion of its DC Micromotor product line with the addition of its Series 1024...S. With an external motor-diameter of only 10 mm and a length of 24 mm, the power to volume ratio is truly impressive. This is achieved through a combination of the "System FAULHABER" ironless rotor and Neodymium rare earth magnets to achieve a stall torque of 2.89 mNm and speeds of up to 14,700 rpm. The precious metal commutation allows operation at low starting voltages due to inherent low contact resistance. The 1 mm diameter motor shaft ensures high rotational stability. The housing of the motor is black to facilitate optimum heat dissipation.
The Series 1024...S DC Micromotor can be combined with a gearbox and encoder for a complete miniature DC drive system. The planetary and spur gearboxes are available in both 10 and 12 mm diameter with various reduction ratios allowing an output torque up to 450 mNm. The 2 channel magnetic encoders allow for precise control of speed and direction of rotation as well as the positioning of the drive shaft.
Series 1024...S motors with 6 and 12 volt windings are immediately available from stock with a 24 - 48 hour turnaround.
