SpanTech Introduces MicroSpan® Transfer the New Powered Plastic Chain Transfer that Provides Smoother Product Transport than Roller Transfers



GLASGOW KY: Span Tech LLC in Glasgow, Kentucky, USA, has introduced the MicroSpan® Transfer as an alternative to roller transfers. This powered transfer features a tight-knit MicroSpan® chain providing a stable, flexible base for the smooth transport of even small, delicate products. It maintains product orientation and has a maximum speed of 140 feet per minute. The stainless steel construction along with MicroSpan® plastic chain is ideal for washdown applications and can be either slave-driven by another conveyor or independently driven. Both ends of the transfer have a profile height of just 14 mm (.55 inches) so smooth transfers are assured. Plus, because it is sprocket-driven, there are no tracking problems as with standard belt-type conveyors Multiple chain widths are available for a variety of applications.

Span Tech will be demonstrating the new MicroSpan® Transfer in Booth #4411 at the IBIE show at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas from August 15-18. Interested parties may also see the MicroSpan® Transfer in Booth S-355 at the PMMI Pack Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago from November 7- 11 and in Booth 648 at ProMat at McCormick Place in Chicago from January 10 - 13.
