Designed to install simply and easily, the HES Upgrade Kit replaces the cart's original battery management system and effectively controls the battery's level of charge and overall health, ensuring that carts operate consistently and reliably for 12 hours (based on a typical 45W load with 40AHr of battery capacity) without data loss or shut down.
HES Power System Upgrade Kits are fully compatible and easy to retrofit onto any medical mobile cart, including designs by FLO, Howard, Ergotron, Infologix, Stinger, GCX, Lionville and others. These economical upgrade kits greatly extend the life of the cart, delivering reliable long-term power, optimized battery life and safe operation. Based upon a DC power architecture, the highly-efficient system accepts all standard battery chemistries including lithium iron phosphate and sealed lead acid.
Designed solely for healthcare applications, the Upgrade Kit's rugged package features an intuitive display similar to an automotive fuel gauge that reports the state of the battery's charge. To ensure the safety of critical patient data, the system warns the user several times as the battery approaches full discharge, and then performs an orderly automatic shutdown to preserve information.
