Original Press Release:

New Options Turn JLG(R) Boom Lifts into Light Towers

McConnellsburg, PA, April 24, 2002 - New accessory packages from JLG Industries, Inc. incorporate lighting systems into boom lifts for nighttime work, in tunnels, or in mining applications and eliminate the need for accessory lighting towers. The Sky Bright(TM) package uses either four or six lights on the platform that can turn a boom lift into a 6,000-watt light tower. Sky Bright package users can attach the light system to their boom lift and then drive over rough terrain quickly to position lights easier and more effectively than using conventional light towers.

The Nite Bright(TM) accessory has four 40-watt lights mounted on the chassis and two 40-watt lights mounted on the platform for more efficient work in low light conditions such as second
shift operations in plants, mills, refineries, shipyards, or on airport tarmacs.

Power for the Sky Bright accessory is provided by the JLG SkyPower(TM) generator delivering up to 7,500W of 110V AC power. It is installed in the engine compartment with leads running
through the power track to the platform.

The Sky Bright package and the Nite Bright accessory are part of JLG's Workstation in the Sky(TM) accessory products that make aerial work platforms more productive. Both options are available on JLG boom lifts with platform heights ranging from 60 ft. to 135 ft.
