Innovative Telecom Power Distribution System Maximizes Protection In Smallest Space
Mt. Prospect IL - January 2002 - E-T-A's new X482 is the worlds smallest telecom power distribution solution in a 1U (1.75") chassis, yet it provides superior protection, distributing up to 900 amperes.
Precious rack space is conserved while up to 20 circuit breakers can be mounted in 19" or 23" racks. And since it's what's inside that counts, E-T-A's reputation as the world's leading circuit protection specialist makes the X482 the most reliable choice for telecom power distribution systems.
The X482 chassis adapts to any mounting configuration. Power fed to the X482 input is divided into branch circuits that include protection for individual loads. The included 482 series circuit breakers have plug-in terminals to permit swapability and front access. Current ratings range from 100 mA to 50 amperes at 72 Vdc.
Optional auxiliary contacts allow alarm features including front panel display of telecom level alarms, monitoring of bus feeds and breaker status. Other options include LED indication, serial communication ports, busbars, relays, power filters and removable front panels.
Aesthetics, moldings, and graphics can be customized to meet specific requirements. The X482 satisfies agency approval requirements and safety standards, including UL, CSA, NEMA and other international standards.
