The Magnalight MGS-15KVA-120-240-30AFT 15 KVA Power Substation gives operators in industrial settings the ability to convert 480 VAC single phase or three phase electrical current to single phase 120V AC and 240V AC. This capability is desirable in areas where the native power is unavailable or shut down and operators must tap into generators or outside high voltage power sources. This power substation utilizes a 15 KVA transformer to allow operators to safely connect to non native 480VAC power sources including generators and direct grid power and reduce it to useable voltages which can then be used to power the appropriate equipment. This new power transformer substation includes provisions for feed through power distribution, allowing users to connect equipment such as welding substations in series with the unit.
The MGS-15KVA-120-240-30AFT power substation allows operators in industrial and commercial settings to tap into 480VAC power sources outside of the workspace independently of native power sources. This feature is highly useful in settings where power has been shut down or is unavailable in order to reduce risks associated with performing plant turnarounds or large scale maintenance or installation operations in hazardous areas. This power transformer substation is designed to take 480 VAC electrical current and step it down to the 120 and 240 VAC current more commonly used with commercial power equipment.
