Lincoln Electric's New Invertec® V275-S

Stick and TIG Welding from a Durable, Reliable Power Source

CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Searching for a Stick and TIG welding power source built for the rigors of the construction site? Lincoln Electric's new Invertec V275-S is up to the task. It has the power, up to 275 amps, so you can weld with up to 7/32" stick electrodes. Designed for outdoor use, the V275-S is equipped with weather resistant features - It is also the only power source in its class that meets the IP23S environmental rating.

It features tremendous input power flexibility, with the capability to operate on any input voltage from 208 to 575 volts AC, single or three phase power. These attributes, together with the unit's compact design and outstanding stick welding performance, including use with Lincoln Fleetweld® 5P+ (AWS E6010) and Excalibur(TM) (AWS E7018) electrodes, make this machine an ideal solution for construction or fabrication applications.

Standard features include:
o Stick or TIG welding, or arc gouging with up to 3/16" (4.8 mm) diameter carbon electrodes.
o Selectable Hot Start offers the capability to call upon extra starting amperage when necessary for thick, rusty or dirty materials.
o Variable Arc Force control allows the user to dial in the 'soft' or 'crisp' arc characteristics required for ultimate arc control on each application.
o The Touch-Start(TM) TIG capability permits the TIG welding arc to be established without high frequency starting.

The unit's aluminum chassis, protective boots on switches and potted and trayed PC boards provide protection from extreme environments. Lincoln's new and innovative Fan-As-Needed(TM) minimizes thermal cycling of internal machine components, minimizes internal contamination when not welding, saves on electricity costs and extends the life of the machine.

In addition, the V275-S requires no de-rating when used with single phase input power, so you'll get the same performance whether set for single or three phase.

The V275-S is manufactured under a quality system certified to ISO 9001 requirements and is covered by a three-year warranty on parts and labor.

The Lincoln Electric Company, Cleveland, Ohio, is a world leader in the design and manufacture of arc welding equipment and consumables, robotic welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment.
