American Coolair Expands Downblast PRV Line

GAINESVILLE, Ga. (Oct. 13, 2003) - American Coolair's ILG Division now offers a CRBA 52-inch spun aluminum downblast PRV.

The CRBA units are quiet, dependable power roof ventilators recommended for a wide range of general exhaust applications where medium and high ranges of air volume and pressure are specified. Applications include virtually all types of light manufacturing, commercial and institutional buildings such as shopping centers, hospitals, schools, hotels, office buildings, warehouses, airports, apartment buildings, bus terminals and many more.

CRBA units are specified where a roof-mounted location is desired to eliminate interference with other equipment or activities in the building. CRBA units may be used with or without ducts.

Standard features include an aluminum motor-compartment cover, which is weather resistant and easily removed for access to the motor and drives. Out-of-air-stream open motors are also isolated for protection from the exhaust air stream.

The aluminum centrifugal wheel is a non-overloading, backward-inclined design, and it is computer balanced. An overlapping wheel and deep-spun venturi minimize noise and air turbulence, increasing efficiency.

To assure vibration-free operation, the wheel-balance weights are permanently affixed. Motor life is extended, because the backplate fins draw cool air through the motor compartment. A standard bird screen is made out of galvanized wire and is vibration free.

AMCA certified for sound and air performance, the PRV is UL listed for Standard 705. Other available sizes range from six inches to 52 inches.
