Power Rocker Switches from ITT Industries, Cannon Deliver New Functions
NEWTON, MA (March 25, 2004) - Featuring new electrical functionality, ITT Industries, Cannon's new single pole (CM) and double pole (CN) series of panel mount power rocker switches are available with a wide choice of stylish, modern actuator designs.
Multiple functionality includes SPDT and DPDT On-None-On; On-None-Off; On-Off-On; Mom-Off-Mom; and On-Off-Mom. Rockers can be illuminated and marked, and come in white, red, amber and green colors. Both series are snap-in mounting for ease of assembly and terminations are quick-connect or solder lug.
Devices are rated at 16A, 125VAC, 1/8 HP or 10A, 250VAC, 1/3 HP (UL/CSA). CN series devices are also VDE approved. The HP rating is important for designers of small appliances and industrial equipment, such as pumps and welding machinery, where the rockers are often used as On/Off switches. Other applications include power supplies, computers and peripherals and office equipment. Cannon's new family of panel mount rocker switches also includes miniature rectangular and round styles, power devices, and speciality products.
