Graco Launches New Line of Power Rewind Hose Reels for Gas, Oil, Mining, Construction and Other Industries
New Line of Hose Reels Yield Significant Safety Improvements
MINNEAPOLIS--Graco Inc. (NYSE:GGG) has introduced a new line of power rewind hose reels to meet the service needs of numerous industries, including the oil, gas, and mining markets. The XD 60™, XD 70™ and XD 80™ power rewind hose reels are designed to set a new standard in the market for safety and performance. The new reels complement Graco’s recently released XD 40™ and XD 50™ spring hose reels to extend the line into more applications.

The new XD power rewind reels feature an innovative direct drive motor design that is safer for operators and requires less maintenance than chain driven models. The drive unit is completely enclosed for longer life without the need for lubrication maintenance. The design is also safer than chain driven models because there are fewer pinch points, which significantly reduces the chance of injury.

The Graco exclusive, patent-pending swivel design allows better flow to get work done faster and more efficiently. The new line offers hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric 12, 24, 115, and 230-volt motors. The modular design allows for any motor be matched with any of the three new frame sizes to easily configure reels for most any application needing power rewind. Reels are easily configured for left or right hand connections by switching the outlet and motor rotation for ease of installation. Its modularity also makes it easy for distributors to stock components so they can service customers faster.
The heavy-duty, one-piece welded frame is engineered to flex under extreme operating conditions and is stronger than bolted frames that can loosen with use. Individually painted and powder coated components have superior corrosion resistance over assembled and painted products. Reels are available in a choice of three colors– blue, yellow, or white.
