Directed Light Offers High-Repeatability in a Low-Cost Power Probe


SAN JOSE, CA -February 3, 2003- Directed Light is pleased to announce the availability of LaserPoint's "Fit" high-resolution (10mW) hand-held power probe for low to mid-range power industrial and scientific lasers. "Fit," an automatic laser power probe, calculates laser power by microprocessor-based measurement of temperature dynamics and boasts +/-1% repeatability and +/-3% accuracy.

"Fit" is available in two different models, covering multiple wavelengths with powers from 500mW to 200W, and features a large, multifunction LCD, which simultaneously displays power and wavelength of calibration.

Two AA batteries provide enough power for more than 4000 measurements.
