XPower Powerpacks provide portable AC power, jump-start vehicles and have a built-in air compressor
Vancouver, British Columbia, August 22, 2002 - New portable power products from Xantrex Technology Inc. are destined to become a driver's best friend. The XPower Powerpack 300 PLUS
provides 300 watts of portable AC power, jump starts vehicles and can inflate tires and small sports equipment with its built-in air compressor.
"The XPower Powerpack is the ultimate safety tool to have in the trunk of your car," said Lawrence Neil, Director of Sales for XPower products. "It's great for emergency situations when you need to jumpstart a car, truck or boat or even inflate a tire. Xantrex offers two models - the XPower Powerpack 300 and the XPower Powerpack 300 PLUS. Both units come with jumper cables, an AC charger that recharges the Powerpack from a standard
wall outlet, and a DC charging cable to recharge the Powerpack from the battery of a car, truck, boat or small RV. The XPower Powerpack 300 PLUS also includes a built-in air compressor with
nozzle adapters to pump air into tires or small inflatable sports equipment. A car tire can be inflated in less than four minutes.
Built with a 20 amp-hour battery, the XPower Powerpack 300 provides 300 watts of household electricity. It will power a cordless telephone for up to 40 hours, a laptop computer for six hours, and a portable stereo for 17 hours. Its built-in fluorescent light will last for up to 25 hours.
