APT Europe Expands Product Line With New Standard Power Modules



Bordeaux France - Advanced Power Technology Europe, a leader in power module technology, is pleased to announce its new product line of Non Punch Through IGBT power modules in commonly used packages. A range of standard IGBT power modules incorporated into the popular 34mm and 62mm packages, called D1, D3, and D4, will be offered in single switch, phase leg, boost, and buck configurations using 600 to 1700 Volt NPT IGBTs. These modules are dedicated to medium and high power hard switching applications such as SMPS, UPS or three phase inverters.

A second family of standard IGBT power modules in low profile packages named E2, E3, P2 and P3, will incorporate three phase bridge configurations with or without input rectifier bridge, brake switch, and NTC. This new line will cover a range of 600 to 1700 Volts and current capabilities from 10 to 150 Amps. Main applications are three phase motor drives and UPS. These modules are pin to pin compatible with well known 6 pack or other Econo type standard modules.

APT Europe continues to offer Application Specific Power Modules (ASPM®), and will offer custom modules built in standard packages to meet unique requirements not met by the array of standard power modules.
