New Power Line Marker for Easy Installation
California, MO-The Model HS is a breakthrough in installation ease. Completely assembled on the ground, this Marker can be installed on any wire that can be worked with a "Hot Stick" without the need to de-energize the line.
Many customers prefer this model for installation on de-energized lines as well due to the ease of installation.
Mark power, communication, and guy wires at airport or helicopter approach areas, river and canyon crossings, overhead obstructions at construction sites, or obstructions that present a hazard to birds.
It seems, in the utility and power industry, that no one has a ready answer to all of the variables our customers encounter every day.
At TANA Manufacturing this is never a problem. We manufacture all of our products ourselves, on site.
Our standard color is "International Danger Orange;" (U.S. Engineer's Spec. 595-121197 or British STD. 381C-1964-No. 557) however, yellow and white are available as an option. In some cases, these colors prove to be more visible, depending on the surrounding terrain. In some circumstances, such as river and canyon crossings, the FAA recommends an alternating pattern of Orange, Yellow, and White.
