CORCOM CFN Series Filters Help Machinery with EMI Compliance
HARRISBURG, Pa. - November 6, 2007 - Tyco Electronics Corporation has introduced the CORCOM CFN series high current filter. The CFN filter is a universal, 3-phase power line filter for high current applications. CFN filters help electrical equipment comply with international requirements for conducted emissions as well as aid in immunity and susceptibility compliance. Electrical equipment in factory automation systems, HVAC systems, heavy industrial machinery, packaging machinery, motors and other three-phase power applications can benefit from the CFN series filter.
400CFN filters are designed for delta wiring and rated for continuous operation at 400 amps and 277/480 volts 50/60 Hz. Maximum leakage current at 10% unsymmetrical mains line to ground is 5.0 mA @ 120 VAC / 60 Hz and 9.6 mA @ 277 VAC / 50 Hz. The 400CFN filter is UL recognized.
