IBM 7311-D11 I/O Drawer Delivers Additional Power Cords for Use with Non-IBM Power Distribution Units; External SCSI Port Enablement Cable Allows Attachment of External SCSI Devices to the Model 275

Overview
The IBM 7311-D11 I/O drawer, originally announced with power cord #6459, provides an IEC C14 connector at one end to plug into an outlet on a Power Distribution Unit (PDU) in an IBM 7014 rack. Now, additional power cords are being made available with a range of different power plugs. These power cords offer greater flexibility to install the 7311-D11 in non-IBM racks, using non-IBM PDUs.

The External SCSI Port Enablement Cable connects a SCSI internal controller on the IBM IntelliStation® 9114 Model 275 to an external port, allowing attachment of external SCSI devices to the system. The new feature (#4275) replaces feature number 4270.
