Developed based on customer feedback, the RingPlug was designed to prevent cord damage, improve cord reliability, and make unplugging safer for healthcare professionals.
Built with the six o'clock and nine o'clock angle configurations, the RingPlug has hit the market in hospitals across the nation including facilities in California, Michigan, Wisconsin, Washington and Missouri.
"We purchased five of each of the two RingPlug configurations to test how it would work with our defibrillators and found the 90 degree angle and ease of unplugging very beneficial," said Biomed Bill Lankford of West Virginia University Hospital.
