New -- 4-20mA Input Power Controller
Power-IO(TM) introduces a new family of 4-20mA activated solid state contactors. For use with PLCs, PCs, or scada systems; these power switching products accept the industry-standard 4-20mA signal and convert it into a high speed, time proportional output that is ideal for use with resistive heaters, heat sealing bars, or closed-loop PLC temperature control zones. With a high speed cycling capability of twice a second and a setpoint resolution of 0.5 sinewave; these contactors offer accurate performance while dramatically increasing the life of the heater by reducing thermal stress. The contactors include finger-safe caged terminals, an integral heat sink, and a universal mounting bracket for either din rail or bolt-on installations. There are NO time consuming set-up requirements- just attach the wires. Available in single phase models of up to 25 amps or 40 amps.
