Pulizzi Engineering Releases the IPC3402-2756 with Ethernet (TCP/IP), Dial-Up or Direct Serial (RS232) Connections for Remote Power Management

Santa Ana, CA- Pulizzi Engineering, Inc. announces the release of the new high current 24 amp rated Intelligent Power Controller(TM). The IPC3402-2756 fulfills the power density and control/management requirements of the most demanding rack mount systems. The IPC3402-2756 saves rack space by offering 24 amps of power in a 1U (1.75") tall package (optional 0U mounting is available). This eliminates the need for multiple power sources and concentrates the input at one high current source. The IPC3402-2756 offers power control via Ethernet (TCP/IP) and Direct Serial (RS232) communication ports for remote power control of your critical systems. These integrated power control features allow you to remotely reboot locked equipment or control system power from anywhere in the world with an Internet connection. Additional features, such as power up/down sequencing, limit inrush problems and provide user configurable sequencing. The IPC3402-2756 uses the same Telnet and Web browser interfaces that other Pulizzi Intelligent Power Controllers(TM) use. This allows the system to be connected to other IPC34XX series power controllers for control of up to 80 outlets at one IP address or using one single phone line. This unit also features local on/off control of each outlet for onsite maintenance.

The IPC3402-2756 is a rugged, industrial grade, 19" rack mounted unit only 1U (1.75") in height and comes network ready with built-in Ethernet port and RS232 support for phone dial-up connection. This unique design allows for primary communications through a network and allows for a redundant dial-up connection at the same time. The unit features detachable mounting brackets, which can be replaced with either vertical mount (0U) brackets or the optional cable restraint/management system KIT-CABLRES-01 ($59.00). The KIT-CABLRES-01 allows for cables to be secured and routed preventing lost connections and eliminating installation clutter.

The IPC3402-2756 is rated for an input/output voltage of 100-120VAC / 30 amp (24A de-rated) for use in North America and utilizes NEMA 5-15R outlets. This stand-alone system provides for individual control of (8) NEMA receptacles located on the rear of the unit. Power input is via a heavy gauge power cable and NEMA L5-30P, 30 amp twistlock plug. List price is $989.00 with OEM quantity discounts available.

This unit is designed to meet the latest UL/cUL 60950 3rd Edition (EN60950) Listed safety requirements and incorporates a UL Listed main disconnect circuit breaker for branch circuit protection. Also included is TVSS (Transient Voltage Surge Suppression).
