Design Criteria, Inc. announces the development of a power controller for protecting critical military equipment.
The power controller was designed to protect an array of solid-state transmitters which can sense and shutdown the power bus in less than 10 microseconds on specified fault conditions. A proprietary circuit of custom magnetics isolates the power bus from the control and sense circuits and also provides the rapid shutdown feature.
Other capabilities include voltage monitoring, temperature monitoring and power sequencing. Applications for the power controller include motors, power supplies, and other power electronics.
